Recuerda que eres tú quien sigue teniendo la propiedad y la responsabilidad legal de tu dominio. La Protección de Whois te garantiza la privacidad de tus datos frente el uso malicioso de terceras personas, pero en ningún caso te exime de cumplir la normativa vigente.
Primero, comprueba que has verificado la titularidad de tu dominio. Una de las causas por las que puede aparecer en este estado es porque en ese dominio no se ha verificado el contacto registrador. Para hacerlo, confirma tus datos a través de un correo que llegará a tu cuenta de email. Tu dominio volverá a estar operativo en unos minutos.

Sí, aunque en función del tipo de dominio puede haber alguna limitación en el cambio del contacto registrador. Por ejemplo, los dominios .es requieren del envío de documentación para llevar a cabo lo que ESNIC (la entidad gestora de los dominios de Internet en España) denomina Transmisión de Nombre de Dominio.

Con la entrada en vigor del Reglamento General de Protección de Datos (RGPD), el Registry del dominio .ES ha aplicado actualizaciones en su política de Whois, de forma que ni el email de contacto, teléfono o dirección postal, entre otros datos, constan actualmente en el Whois.
